Windy City Weekend

Owen and I took a quick trip to Chicago at the end of April to scope out what will be our home for a year starting this summer.  We originally planned to see any rentals that may have come on the market (most places for a July move-in don't come onto the market until May), but mainly check out neighborhoods to make sure it would work for us to live there.  We ended up having a stroke of luck and found a suitable place (that came on the market early) right before our trip.  So, instead of running around the city looking at places, we spent part of an afternoon meeting our new landlord and signing a lease and had the rest of the time to enjoy ourselves.  As an extra bonus, we were blessed with beautiful spring weather.  If only the weather in Chicago was always this nice...
